People are at the heart of everything I do

Whether I'm sitting alongside someone at the end of life, helping a couple create a wedding ceremony that feels genuinely like them, coaching someone through an important transition, or facilitating learning in a professional setting, my aim is always the same: to create a space where people feel heard, understood and at ease. I believe that meaningful conversations begin with genuine connection, and I've been told that one of my strengths is helping people feel comfortable from the moment we meet.

Over many years I've had the privilege of working in education, learning and development, leadership coaching and facilitation, supporting people to learn, grow and navigate change with confidence. Today that experience sits naturally alongside my work as an end-of-life doula, celebrant and community volunteer. I feel deeply honoured to walk alongside people during some of life's most important milestones—whether that's celebrating a marriage, supporting someone who is dying, creating meaningful farewells, or simply making space for conversations that matter.

I bring warmth, curiosity, calmness and a healthy sense of humour to everything I do. Every person and every family has their own story, values and way of doing things, and I take the time to listen before offering guidance. My role isn't to tell people how things should be done; it's to help them discover what feels right for them.

Professionally, I'm a Professional Member of ELDAA (End of Life Doula Alliance Aotearoa), a Validated Member of CANZ (Celebrants Aotearoa), and hold qualifications in people leadership and communication. Those credentials are important, but what matters most to me is building trusting relationships and ensuring that every person I work with feels respected, supported and genuinely cared for.

I'm never far from my trusty Canon camera. Photography has taught me to notice the small details, the quiet moments and the connections between people—qualities that shape not only my images, but the way I approach every conversation, ceremony and family I have the privilege to support.
